No updates at all this week, but this time I have a very good excuse. My little brother moved out (yes, sigh, "little." He makes more money than I do and, thus, can afford it. If it's any consolation, his new apartment does not have air conditioning.)

Anyway, I decided to move to his old room, since it was bigger than mine (it used to be part of the garage, hence why I let him have it in the first place) and I've been working non-stop since Thursday moving and paiting - in addition to my normal work schedule. Even now, the doors still need another coat of paint...but I might let that slide till the weekend.

Anyway, here's your consolation prize: crappy fanart. It's all black and white, because I have yet to find a way to color them that doesn't end up looking bad on the screen.

I thought about presenting them as completely unrelated to the fic, but I did do them while thinking about/making plans for it, so even if they aren't specific scenes...probably will never be specific scenes...they are somewhat related to the idea.

1. This is the first one, the one that made me start writing Fealty in the first place. It has very much to do with the "eventual crossover" part of the fic that I'm trying not to talk about for fear of scaring people away.

On an unrelated note: Sweeney Todd comes out on DVD tomorrow. Dark, bloody, extremely violent AND it includes songs about cannabilism and Depp being creepy. WHY aren't you jumping out of your seats yet?

Fanart. As usual, remember that 1. I'm not very good and 2. The only tools at my disposal are pencils, pens, and colored pencils. I haven't quite gotten the whole inks thing yet, much less computers.

There are at least three other pics that I can think of that I want to share, but they didn't get scanned and will have to wait until the next time the bird is in town. Two because I just forgot them at the time, and one because it was done after all the scanning took place.

This is a piece of fanart for EO done by the very talented dark_avalon It takes place in a scene which has been written, but has not been posted yet. My first fanart that I didn't do myself! Yippee!

I did this a few nights ago, and the bird was nice enough to let me scan it. It's for the "Flood" timeline though, so don't look at it if you're afraid of risking a spoiler. I don't really know how much of a spoiler is it; my hints are always rather blatant, anyway...

If you did happen to look: Aya's hair is still short. This is because Side B gives evidence that he doesn't grow it out again (I am pretty much going to be ignoring that timeline anyway, though, where Aya's concerned, but...) Also, Yohji's hair. Flood will take place a year after Inferno, if I remember correctly. Yohji's hair wouldn't have time to grow back out, considering that he'd want to grow it in the first place. As for the third character in the picture...well, I couldn't bring myself to keep his Gluhen hair style, but he's still a little changed.

All in all, I'm happy with it, so if you do look, please be kind.

I found some great character sketches of the boys on HopeForlorn; I really can't wait to play with those. I need to finish writing Inferno; there's only one more episode I need to sit down and take notes on...I just don't feel like it. I'll force myself to do it though. Hopefully today or tomorrow. Meanwhile, production of Flood is still in full swing.
